Mark immerses himself in the dynamic interplay of technology and creativity, with a specialised focus on innovative approaches in large-scale 3D printing and hybrid manufacturing techniques. Mark's research and creative endeavours are fuelled by a deep-seated belief in the importance of 'making' as an integral part of the design process. Through design, Mark aims to bridge the gap between theory and practice, infusing objects with narratives that seamlessly blend past and present. This includes the use of both computational and parametric workflows for product design and object-based storytelling.
Marks research extends to the development of dynamic educational resources tailored to fostering group learning and communication. These resources serve as versatile tools for interactive learning experiences, empowering individuals within groups to explore and articulate their narratives in compelling ways. By integrating technology with the art of storytelling, Mark strives to inspire curiosity, fuel imaginative exploration, and cultivate a nuanced understanding of our collective human experiences within academic and broader contexts.
