Ruapekapeka waka

Te Ruapekapeka Trust/Heavy Metal Company

3D scanning of and subsequently 3D printing a 1:1 scale replica of a waka used in the battle of Te Ruapekapeka. Working with the Te Ruapekapeka Trust and Heavy Metal company to create a direct mold for bronze casting, as part of a installation in commemoration of the Pā site.

Completed in 2021, awaiting installation on site.
